"Peacemaker. Portrait of Napoleon Bonaparte referencing Antonio Canova’s sculpture. I had a small obsession with Antonio’s work for a little bit. Pretty much still do. This was a way for me to have a better relationship with his work. In a way having a conversation with the sculptor in a way only another artist could. To you Antonio Canova, thank you so much for the inspiration and education. I’m a better everything because of your work." - Sean
